Ways to Block Gambling at Golisimo Casino in Romania
As a licensed online operator in Romania, Golisimo Casino offers a variety of responsible gambling tools that players can utilize to limit, pause or cease their activity golisimocasino.com.ro. We recognize that gambling should stay a form of entertainment, and when it fails seeming that way, blocking access or limiting play is a sensible step. This page explains the specific methods offered to Romanian players who wish to reduce gambling harm, define financial limits, enjoy a break or self-exclude completely. We address account-level tools inside your Golisimo Casino profile, national self-exclusion options through Romanian authorities, payment blocking and software solutions that operate on multiple devices. You can activate most of these controls within a few minutes, and you can combine several methods for stronger protection.
Establishing Deposit Caps & Wager Limits at Golisimo Casino
Deposit restrictions represent the fastest way to regulate the amount of money you can place into your Golisimo Casino account over a defined duration. The system allow you to define per day, per week as well as monthly deposit limits via the responsible gambling part of your user settings. Once you establish a lower deposit cap, the modification goes into effect immediately. In case you choose to raise a cap later, the system apply a cooling-off period of at least 24 hours ahead of the raise takes effect. This integrated pause is meant to prevent hasty actions taken during a bad run or a low point. Our assistance team cannot overrule an active deposit limit, which makes sure that the restriction remains a firm barrier even if you request a waiver.
Loss caps and betting limits operate differently while being of equal significance. A loss restriction restricts the overall net of money you may lose during a specific period, while a wager limit restricts the total value of wagers placed, irrespective of whether you win or lose. Both features are available for daily, weekly and monthly timeframes. As an illustration, you could set a daily loss cap of 200 RON and a weekly betting limit of 2,000 RON. When either restriction is met, you won’t be able to place further bets until the period resets. These restrictions can be seen in your transaction history, and our system automatically stops any attempted bet that would exceed them. We suggest examining these settings after any significant gambling session.
Setting up Cooling-off and Self-exclusion periods Periods
A temporary block is a temporary block that blocks you from logging into your Golisimo Casino account for a duration you pick, generally between 24 hours and six weeks. During a temporary block, you are blocked from logging in, bet or deposit funds. You can ask for a cooling-off period through your account settings, by email or via live chat with our support team. The restriction starts immediately once we approve the request. At the conclusion of the cool-off, your account is automatically reactivated, but you will be sent a notice before this occurs. We recommend players who have an overwhelming desire to gamble to utilize a cooling-off period as a starting point, because it restricts entry without demanding a long-term choice.
Self-exclusion is a stronger tool for preventing gambling at Golisimo Casino in Romania. When you opt for self-exclusion, we deactivate your account for a duration of at least six months, up to five years or indefinitely. During self-exclusion, we prevent all logins, withdrawals are handled only for verified balances, and we discontinue issuing promotional material. You need to contact our responsible gambling team to apply for self-exclusion. We will guide you through the process and verify the start date in writing. Once self-exclusion is active, it cannot be reversed before the agreed timeframe ends. We also advise that you undertake the national self-exclusion process detailed in the next section, because our account-level self-exclusion is restricted to Golisimo Casino, not to other regulated operators in Romania.
Setting Session Time Limits and Reality Check Reminders
Time limits are an additional practical tool for preventing prolonged gambling sessions at Golisimo Casino. You can choose a maximum session length, after which our platform will automatically log you out for the remainder of the chosen period. Session timers can be set as short as 15 minutes or as long as several hours, depending on your personal goals. We also feature a reality check feature that shows a pop-up notification at intervals you select, such as every 30, 60 or 90 minutes. That notification includes the time you have spent playing, the amount deposited, the amount wagered and your net result for the session. You must actively confirm the pop-up to continue playing, which interrupts automatic or distracted gambling behaviour.
We advise Romanian players to use time limits together with deposit limits, because time alone does not always stop rapid betting. A reality check forces a conscious decision to continue, and that pause is often enough to break an escalating pattern. If you find yourself repeatedly clicking through the reality check without thinking, we suggest activating a cool-off period instead. You can change your time limits at any time, but as with deposit limits, increases to time limits require a short waiting period before they take effect. This ensures that a decision to allow longer sessions is made with a clear head rather than under immediate pressure to keep playing.
Using ONJN and Romanian National Self-Exclusion Tools
The Romanian National Gambling Office, known as ONJN, maintains a national self-exclusion register that includes all licensed online gambling operators in Romania. If you wish to block gambling not only at Golisimo Casino but also at every other licensed site, you should apply for inclusion in this register. The process usually involves submitting an application through the ONJN website or through a licensed operator, along with proof of identity. Once your name is added, all ONJN-licensed platforms are obligated to prevent you from creating new accounts or using existing ones for the duration of the exclusion. We back this process fully and will help you complete the necessary forms if you contact our responsible gambling team.
National self-exclusion is the most comprehensive legal blocking method available in Romania, because it encompasses multiple operators at once. The minimum exclusion period and the procedure for removal are set by ONJN, not by individual casinos. You ought to treat this as a long-term protection measure rather than a quick pause. Some players pair national self-exclusion with our internal self-exclusion, but the ONJN register alone is sufficient to block all licensed Romanian gambling sites. We suggest keeping a copy of your registration confirmation, because it may also be useful if you later need to explain your access block to a payment provider or a support team at another operator.
Blocking Gambling Payments and Website Access
In addition to account-level and national self-exclusion, you can prevent gambling transactions at the payment level. Many banks operating in Romania allow you to block specific merchant category codes associated with gambling and betting. Contact your bank or card issuer and request a gambling transaction block on your debit or credit card. This stops deposits from being processed even if you seek to use a different gambling site. E-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller and PayPal also provide gambling block options in their settings. Keep in mind that payment blocking is not instant across all banks, and some prepaid cards or cryptocurrencies may bypass these controls, so it should be used together with other methods.
Software blocking tools offer another layer of protection for Romanian players who want to cease accessing gambling websites altogether. Applications like Gamban, BetBlocker and Gamblock can be installed on your computer, smartphone or tablet. These programs restrict thousands of gambling sites, including Golisimo Casino, by filtering DNS requests or running background services. Many of these tools are free or low-cost, and some are offered through problem gambling support organisations. Once installed, they are difficult to remove without a deliberate process, which limits impulsive attempts to gamble. We support the use of such tools and can provide current recommendations if you contact our responsible gambling team.
Obtaining Free Gambling Addiction Support in Romania
If blocking access alone seems like enough, we highly recommend you to contact a professional support service. In Romania, the Joc Responsabil programme delivers free, confidential information and counselling for gambling-related problems. You can contact them by phone or through their website, and they can help you develop a recovery plan, refer you to a therapist and explain additional self-exclusion steps. Gamblers Anonymous Romania also organises regular meetings in several cities, including Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara, where you can speak with others who have faced similar struggles. These services are independent from Golisimo Casino, and your conversations with them are private.
We keep a list of emergency contacts and support organisations on our responsible gambling page, and our team is trained to point you to the right service without judgement. You do not need to be in crisis to ask for help. Early intervention is often the most effective way to prevent gambling harm from escalating. We recommend writing down the contact details for Joc Responsabil and keeping them in your phone, even if you do not plan to use them today. Blocking gambling at Golisimo Casino is a practical first step, but long-term wellbeing often requires a combination of technical blocks and human support.
